Last three weeks, my old speaker. A Logitech S-100 decided to die on me. So i was using my headset for all my multimedia and gaming needs. Then I decided it is a new time to buy a new speaker. As I'm not really all into this audio stuff, a normal speaker would be enough.I browse through PCDepot website and this SonicGear Tatoo 303 caught my attention. The price quoted at PCDepot is RM38. Cheap for a 2.1 speaker.
But to make sure, I went to Digitalbay at Jusco Seberang Prai City to browse their speakers collection. The same Tatoo is priced at RM55. So I can save RM17 is I buy it at PCDepot.
I bought a black colour version. Back at home, test the sound. The bass from the woofer seems to overpower the sattelite speakers. But for me it is still ok. I never listen that loud anyway. I usually push the volume to 4 and 5 only.
Conclusion. Cheap and affordable speakers. Sufficient for everyday uses. If you care about sound quality and an audiophile, better buy a better one.
