Early last week, my browser is acting strangely. Both FireFox and IE. At random timing it will open a web page with just IP in it. Pointing to the antivirus 2009. Which was tagged as "Misleading Application" by symantec.
I suspect some virus or trojan have infected my PC. Further research point me to Vundo. I do a full scan with my McAfee but still can't find anything. Then tried to scan using a-squared scanner. Still can't find anything.
Then I remember Gizmo's Best-ever Freeware . Their 1st choice for The Best Free Adware/Spyware/Scumware Remover is SuperAntiSpyware. So i download that and did a full scan.
It found out multiple infection in my PC and managed to clean all of them. So far so good with no repeat infection and my browser is behaving normally.
