Terengganu Trip

Few weeks ago went to Terengganu for a vacation. Just for a short time. Plan to go the the east coast again. The beaches are nice. Better than the one in Penang/Butterworth.

We stay at Sri Indah Resort. But be careful if you wanted to stay here.
Cons:
a) No internet access
b) The parking space is limited.
Pro:
a) Near the beach (even you can't swim in it)
b) Near a lot of foodstalls.
Next time, i may try the "Batu Burok Beach Resort" which also located near there.

10 Tips to make your Laptop Battery last longer

How to extend laptop battery life? Here are some more tips to improve your notebook's battery life:

1. If you do not use your laptop for extended periods of time (a week or more), remove the battery pack from the laptop.

2. Do not expose the battery to high heat or freezing temperatures. Do not leave your battery in your car in the summer. Hot batteries discharge very quickly, and cold ones can't create as much power.

3. Make sure to plug your laptop charger adapter into a UPS and not directly into a power outlet or surge protector.

4. If you have a nickel-metal hydride battery, completely drain and recharge the battery once a month to maximize its capacity to hold a charge.

5. Fully charge new battery packs before use. New pack needs to be fully charged and discharged (cycled) a few times before it can condition to full capacity.

6. For laptops that work as Desktop Replacement, the battery should be re-installed every 3-4 weeks and allowed to fully discharge.

7. Leaving a battery in a laptop while using an electrical outlet for long periods of time will keep the battery in a constant state of charging up and that will reduce the life cycle of the battery.

Sunset at Batu Ferringhi, Penang

Last Sunday made a trip to Batu Ferringhi. Main reason was to scout some place for my boss and the team to relax and unwind. Made my way to "Bayu Senja" and walk to "Sunset Bistro". It was Sunday and the place was packed with people. Tourists, locals are all there.

Apa Kata Wanita live session at Angkasapuri

Last Saturday, I went to Angkasapuri Kuala Lumpur. Fareedascarf got invited by the TV program "Apa Kata Wanita" for its fashion segment. The show was aired lived on RTM1. The fashion segment was at the end of the show.

Fareedascarf also provided some gifts to the audience.

Went to Telok Tempoyak today. I never been there before. Heard so many stories. I decided to have a look myself. Below are some of the photos that I managed to take at "Restoran Seri Idaman"

This is my breakfast on 25/12/2009. Try my little "creativity" in the kitchen. The sardines was a leftover from my wife cooking, so I created my "masterpiece" with it. A Sandwich. :)

Plus a cup of nescaffe (the 3 in 1 variant). A good and filling breakfast.
